01Infrastructure
The large Didube bus terminal — departure point for minibuses across Georgia — the Didube market, supermarkets, and banks are all here. Nearby is the Didube Pantheon, where prominent Georgian figures are buried. Tsereteli Street is one of the city's main retail arteries.
02Transport
Didube metro station is a key interchange. From here it is easy to reach any part of Tbilisi or travel out of town. The bus network is well developed.
03Housing and prices
Soviet apartment blocks, private houses, and a handful of infill new builds. Prices are below the central districts — Didube appeals to those who want good transport links at an affordable price.
04Schools and kindergartens
Several state schools and kindergartens are within walking distance. For private schools and international programmes, you will need to travel to Vake or Saburtalo.
05Safety and atmosphere
A lively district with heavy foot traffic near the bus station and market. Residential streets are calmer; lighting is generally good.
