01Infrastructure
Viimsi Keskus shopping centre, the Estonian Open Air Museum, parks, and coastal walking paths are all here. For a suburb, the infrastructure is well developed: schools, kindergartens, clinics, and pharmacies are all within the municipality.
02Transport
Bus routes (114, 115, 116) connect Viimsi to central Tallinn; the journey to Kesklinn takes 20–35 minutes. A ferry crossing to Aegna Island is available in summer. A private car provides the most comfort.
03Housing and prices
Private houses and modern townhouses predominate; new residential developments have appeared in recent years. Viimsi is one of Tallinn's most prestigious and expensive suburbs — prices are comparable with Pirita.
04Schools and kindergartens
Viimsi has its own gymnasium (Viimsi Gümnaasium) and several kindergartens; the municipality is known for its high standard of educational services.
05Safety and atmosphere
One of Tallinn's safest and best-maintained suburbs: low building density, gated communities, and a pristine environment.
