01Infrastructure
The Kopli Peninsula is surrounded by water on three sides, offering scenic views over the Gulf of Finland. Historically home to shipyards and factories, its industrial buildings are now being converted into residential developments. Basic shops and cafés are available; larger shopping centres are in Haabersti or Kesklinn.
02Transport
Tram lines 1 and 2 connect Kopli to the city centre; the journey to Kesklinn takes 20–25 minutes. The tram depot is located right in Kopli.
03Housing and prices
A mix of run-down Soviet-era stock and new residential developments in former industrial zones. Prices are among the most affordable for a waterside location; analysts single out Kopli as a zone with high price-growth potential.
04Schools and kindergartens
State schools exist in Kopli; proximity to Põhja-Tallinn and Kesklinn broadens the range of educational choices.
05Safety and atmosphere
The atmosphere is improving as new developments take shape: new residential complexes are safe and secure, while parts of the older stock are still being regenerated.
