01Infrastructure
Rocca al Mare — one of Estonia's largest shopping centres — is located right in Haabersti: hypermarket, cinema, and dozens of shops. The Kakumäe and Kopli Bay recreational areas are popular with residents for walks, cycling, and swimming. The district has health clinics, schools, and kindergartens.
02Transport
Trolleybus and bus routes (17, 17A, 40, 48) connect the district to the city centre; the journey to Kesklinn takes about 20–25 minutes. Convenient access to the E67 motorway (towards Pärnu and Riga).
03Housing and prices
A mix of Soviet-era panel blocks from the 1970s and newer residential complexes along the shoreline. Prices are moderate — below the centre but noticeably higher than Lasnamäe or Mustamäe.
04Schools and kindergartens
State schools with Estonian-language instruction and kindergartens operate in Haabersti; sports clubs, including waterside activities such as sailing and rowing, are also nearby.
05Safety and atmosphere
A family district with broad green zones, well-lit residential streets, and beachside walkways. The safety level is high by Tallinn standards.
