01Infrastructure
Náměstí Bratří Synků is the local square with cafés, a restaurant, and a weekend farmers' market. Supermarkets, pharmacies, and everyday shops line Vršovická and Krymská streets. Eden Arena (Slavia Praha stadium) is within walking distance — lively on match days.
02Transport
Metro line C (red): Náměstí Míru (on the border with Vinohrady) — 10 minutes on foot or one tram stop. Trams 4 and 22 pass through the neighbourhood. To the centre (Muzeum) — about 15 minutes.
03Housing and prices
Mainly renovated and partially refurbished late-19th and early-20th century apartment buildings with high ceilings. Prices are below Vinohrady but rising — a renovated 70 sq m flat costs around 4.2 million CZK.
04Schools and kindergartens
Several state primary schools and kindergartens. Grammar schools and language schools are in Vinohrady, 10 minutes by tram. The neighbourhood attracts young families with pre-school children.
05Safety and atmosphere
A calm and safe residential neighbourhood with a family atmosphere. Streets are well lit; the pace is unhurried. It is temporarily busier around Eden Arena on match days.
