01About this place
Malostranská opened in 1978 on the green line A. The station exit is in the immediate vicinity of Malá Strana (Lesser Town) — the district of baroque palaces, the Wallenstein Garden, and the Senate Palace. Prague Castle is a 5-minute walk; Charles Bridge is 7 minutes. The area is predominantly tourist and diplomatic; residential stock is limited.
02Nearby housing and prices
Housing near Malostranská consists mainly of apartments in historic baroque buildings from the 16th–18th centuries, often renovated. This is one of Prague's most expensive locations: purchase prices are comparable to Staré Město. Long-term rentals are scarce — most properties go into short-term letting via tourist platforms.
03Transport and accessibility
Line A: previous station Hradčanská, next station Staroměstská. Trams 12, 15, 20, and 22 connect Lesser Town with Wenceslas Square and Smíchov. To the centre — 2 stops by metro.
