Anděl metro station (line B) is the commercial and residential hub of Smíchov: large shopping centres, a brewery, and an active urban life on the left bank of the Vltava.

Anděl is the main station of Smíchov (Praha 5). Nearby are Nový Smíchov shopping centre with IKEA and a multiplex, the historic Staropramen brewery, and the Futura gallery. It is one of Prague's most dynamically developing districts: old factories are being converted into offices, apartments, and co-working spaces.
A mix of historic apartment buildings, Soviet panel blocks, and modern new builds (River City, Smíchov City). Prices are moderately high: below Vinohrady, but rising. High demand from young professionals and IT workers.
Line B: Nusle (towards the centre) and Radlická (towards the west). No interchange, but trams 5, 12, and 20 connect with the centre, Vinohrady, and Barrandov. To Můstek — 4 stops, ~7 minutes.
