01Infrastructure
Vítězné náměstí (Victory Square) is the transport and commercial hub, with a market, cafés, and banks. Stromovka (a vast park) and the Šárka valley with nature trails are within walking distance. The ČVUT campus with cafeterias and sports halls is nearby.
02Transport
Metro line A (green): Dejvická — the western terminus and one of the main hubs. Numerous buses to the airport and Kladno depart from here. To Můstek — 10 minutes by metro.
03Housing and prices
Villas, townhouses, and solid pre-war apartment buildings — high-quality housing stock. Prices are above the Prague average but below Praha 1–2. Strong demand from diplomats and international company employees.
04Schools and kindergartens
ČVUT (Czech Technical University) is the district's main university. The International School of Prague (ISP) is in nearby Nebušice. Several state grammar schools and private kindergartens. The German and French schools are a few stops away.
05Safety and atmosphere
One of Prague's safest districts: embassies, diplomats, regular police patrols, and quiet streets. Good street lighting; a family atmosphere with no late-night venues.
