Plzeň Plaza — the city's largest retail and entertainment centre with a cinema, restaurants, and a hypermarket. The Borská pole industrial zone with major employers (Panasonic, Walmark) is adjacent. Several supermarkets and pharmacies within the residential section.

Trams 2 and 3 link Doubravka with the Pilsen centre in 15 minutes. Buses to the Borská pole industrial zone. Access to the D5 motorway (Prague–Nuremberg) — convenient for drivers.

New schools and kindergartens are being built alongside the residential development. Grammar schools in the Pilsen centre are 15 minutes by tram. Applied science faculties of ZČU are within walking distance.
