01Infrastructure
The district contains Chelyuskintsev Park with its rides, the botanical garden and the Minsk Zoo. Shopping centres, polyclinics and markets are available in every microdistrict. The Uruchcha microdistrict, with its own well-developed local amenities, also belongs to the district.
02Transport
Pervomaysky leads the city in metro coverage: Akademiya Navuk, Park Chalyuskintsau, Maskouskaya, Uschod, Barysauski Trakt and Uruchcha — all on the Maskouskaya (blue) line. Buses and trolleybuses supplement the underground.
03Housing and prices
A varied housing stock: Soviet panel and brick buildings together with modern residential complexes near the metro. Prices range from moderate in the outlying microdistricts to higher levels near the stations.
04Schools and kindergartens
Several gymnasiums with specialised classes, state schools and a kindergarten in every microdistrict. Sports clubs and family leisure centres cluster around Chelyuskintsev Park.
05Safety and atmosphere
The district is green and calm; parks and squares create a comfortable environment. Lighting along the main avenues is good, and the area around the metro stays busy yet safe in the evenings.
