01Infrastructure
Shopping centres, markets, polyclinics and sports venues sit in each of the three large microdistricts. A new four-lane highway from the Southern Market to Olshanka has accelerated cross-district travel. 46 industrial enterprises are located in the district's industrial zone.
02Transport
Bus and trolleybus routes link Folyush, Vishnevets and Olshanka with the centre; the trip takes about 15–20 minutes. The distance between the outermost microdistricts is no more than 15 km, and by car any point in the city is within 20 minutes.
03Housing and prices
Panel buildings from the 1970s–2000s and active new construction in Folyush, Vishnevets and Olshanka through shared-equity arrangements. Prices are moderate — below the centre — and the choice is broad.
04Schools and kindergartens
Schools, gymnasiums and kindergartens in every microdistrict. The Yanka Kupala Grodno State University (GrSU), the largest university in the city, sits inside Oktyabrsky district.
05Safety and atmosphere
Calm residential microdistricts with good lighting. The courtyards are quiet and the atmosphere is family-friendly. Folyush stands out for having the cleanest air among the microdistricts.
