01Infrastructure
Central Xırdalan has supermarkets, markets, shopping centres, banks and polyclinics. The town's infrastructure has grown significantly over recent years alongside the residential construction — new cafés, beauty salons and service venues keep opening.
02Transport
Xırdalan is linked to Baku by buses and minibuses; the trip to the capital takes 20–35 minutes depending on traffic. The Baku–Sumqayıt highway runs through the town, with the main motorways of the Absheron Peninsula nearby. There is no metro in Xırdalan.
03Housing and prices
Comfort-class new builds from 2015–2025 dominate. This is one of the most active primary-housing markets in Azerbaijan: hundreds of new residential complexes attract buyers with affordable prices and modern layouts.
04Schools and kindergartens
The town has state schools, gymnasiums and kindergartens; some residents send their children to schools in Baku. Private education centres and kindergartens keep opening.
05Safety and atmosphere
Xırdalan is a calm and well-kept town with a low level of urban crime. New residential complexes have video surveillance and security; the atmosphere is comfortable for families.
