Al Khan Lagoon with pedestrian waterfront promenades, Al Khan Fish Market, Sharjah Aquarium and the Heritage Area with museums. Waterfront restaurants and cafés, and small retail galleries. Supermarkets and pharmacies within walking distance.
02Transport
Direct access to King Faisal Road and Al Wahda Street. The drive to central Sharjah is 10 minutes; to Al Ittihad Road (E11) is 5–10 minutes. Bus routes serve the district. A car or taxi is convenient for trips to Dubai.
03Housing and prices
Apartments and villas ranging from affordable to mid-market. Properties with lagoon and sea views command higher prices. Rental for 1BR runs around 28,000–45,000 AED per year. The market is mixed — new towers sit alongside traditional homes.
04Schools and kindergartens
Several international schools and nurseries are 10–15 minutes away, including Sharjah English School. Children's educational centres are in the Heritage Area.
05Safety and atmosphere
A quiet, historically established neighbourhood with a low incident rate. The waterfront is well lit; municipal services are active. The atmosphere is calm and culturally rich.
