Wynn Al Marjan Island Casino Resort (expected to open 2027) — the first casino in the UAE. InterContinental Mina Al Arab Resort and a number of luxury hotels already operating. Restaurants, cafés, waterfront promenades and a private beach. Infrastructure is being developed rapidly.
02Transport
Access via bridges to Emirates Road (E11). To Dubai about 50–60 minutes. To Ras Al Khaimah International Airport about 20–25 minutes. A private car is essential; taxis are available.
03Housing and prices
High-rise tower apartments and waterfront villas. Studio around 39,000 AED per year; 1BR around 59,000 AED; 2BR around 86,000 AED. To buy: 1BR around 1 million AED; 2BR around 1.94 million AED; 3BR around 4.38 million AED. Price per sq ft around 1,328 AED (+21% in 2025).
04Schools and kindergartens
Private schools are in the mainland part of RAK — 15–25 minutes away. There are currently no schools on the island itself.
05Safety and atmosphere
A gated island perimeter with restricted access, security and CCTV. A very high safety level. A tourist and investment community.
