01Infrastructure
Atlantis The Palm, Nakheel Mall, The Pointe with restaurants and shops, a yacht club, beaches on the outer crescent and world-class sports facilities all sit within the island. The infrastructure level matches the ultra-premium segment.
02Transport
The Palm Monorail links the trunk of the island to the Gateway station and Atlantis hotel. On the mainland, the 'Nakheel' Red Line metro station is accessible. Taxis and private cars are the primary modes of travel.
03Housing and prices
Villas on the fronds and apartments in the trunk towers represent Dubai's most expensive residential segment. Properties feature Gulf views, private beach access and a high degree of privacy.
04Schools and kindergartens
The nearest international schools are in the Jumeirah and Dubai Marina areas. There are no schools on the island itself, so families factor in travel time to educational facilities.
05Safety and atmosphere
A secured perimeter, CCTV and restricted access provide a very high level of safety and privacy. One of the quietest residential enclaves in Dubai.
