Dubai Internet City (DIC) was founded in 1999 as the UAE's first technology free zone. Today it houses over 1,600 companies including Google, Facebook/Meta, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Cisco, HP and many others. Dubai Media City and Knowledge Village are adjacent. The station is at the centre of the technology cluster.

Red Line: to 'DMCC' (2 stops), to 'Mall of the Emirates' (2 stops in the other direction). Buses to Knowledge Village and Al Sufouh. Convenient Sheikh Zayed Road access.
