01About this place
The station opened in 2010 and is named after Dubai's two most iconic landmarks. A covered gallery roughly 820 m long leads from the platform straight into Dubai Mall, which houses over 1,200 shops, an aquarium, an ice rink and cinemas. The Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa observation deck are right outside. This is the most visited metro station in the UAE.
02Nearby housing and prices
Apartments in Downtown within walking distance of the station are in the luxury and ultra-luxury segment: studios from 90,000 AED per year, 1BR from 120,000 AED. Buying a 1BR starts from 1.5 million AED. Views of the Burj Khalifa and fountains multiply property values.
03Transport and accessibility
Red Line — direct connections to BurJuman, Union, Dubai Airport Terminals 1 and 3, Dubai Marina and DMCC. The covered walkway means no need to step outside. To Airport Terminal 1 about 15 minutes non-stop.
