01About this place
Al Fahidi is Dubai's oldest surviving residential neighbourhood, dating to the late 19th century. It houses Dubai Museum (Al Fahidi Fort), art galleries, coffee shops and boutique hotels in traditional wind-tower houses (barajeel). The quarter is listed as UAE heritage. Abra ferry landings across the Creek are nearby.
02Nearby housing and prices
The residential market near the station is old Bur Dubai: studios from 30,000 AED per year. Few new complexes exist; the quarter is by nature tourist-cultural. On neighbouring Bur Dubai streets a wider choice is available.
03Transport and accessibility
Green Line: to 'BurJuman' (Red + Green transfer, 2 stops), to 'Union' (4 stops). Abra ferries across the Creek — 5 minutes on foot. Taxi to Downtown 10–15 minutes.
