The district is anchored by Dubai Mall — one of the world's largest shopping and entertainment centres — along with the Dubai Fountain, Burj Khalifa, world-class restaurants and art galleries. Medical clinics, banks and everyday services are all within walking distance.
02Transport
The Red Line metro station 'Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall' serves the district directly, with a covered walkway leading straight into the mall. Taxis and ride-hailing are available around the clock; Sheikh Zayed Road provides fast links to every part of the city.
03Housing and prices
High-rise apartments with views of the Burj Khalifa and fountains sit at the top end of the market. Rental and sale prices are among the highest in the UAE; studios, 1BR and 2BR units in premium new towers dominate the supply.
04Schools and kindergartens
Several private international schools and nurseries are nearby, including Jumeirah English Speaking School and a number of institutions in the DIFC zone. University campuses are located in neighbouring districts.
05Safety and atmosphere
One of the safest and best-maintained neighbourhoods in the UAE, with a constant police presence, CCTV coverage and round-the-clock staff in residential towers. Tourist and business footfall is high; the atmosphere is lively and cosmopolitan.
